rules for alphabet legacy

1. Choose any neighborhood you like be it a custom world or an EA neighborhood. Create either a single Young Adult sim or a couple in CAS. (marriage not required and alternative families are allowed) The traits and Life Time Wish (LTW) can be what ever you want, but the LTW must be unique for each sim if you create a couple. Due to no point, you may set life span however you choose including using mods that affect life span.

2. Choose any last name you like, but all future generations must carry that last name forward. The first name(s) of your legacy founder must start with the letter "A", if creating a couple then both must have a first name with the letter "A". Each successive generation must have a first name with the next letter of the alphabet. Generation 2 = "B", Generation 3 = "C" and so forth. This includes all children born into your legacy household.

3. ALL legacy family members must be born in game. You are not required to marry the other parent, nor must they stay in you legacy house.

4. Game mods and Testing cheats are allowed with some exception
a. NO MONEY CHEATS at all, as money is easily made in the game.
b. NO cheats that give instant skills, you have to earn these.
c. You can not use a cheat or mod that makes a set LTW to easy to get. As an example, you can't use "Make friends" and pull up the relationship meter up to achieve the LTW "Super Popular"

5. Each legacy member must have a unique LTW, you can not repeat any of them. LTW's of sims you bring in from the neighborhood do not count.

6. You may have as many children as you want, but only one can continue the legacy. All others must be removed from the house at Young Adult. The method you choose to remove them is up to you and this should be done the sim-day they age up.

7. All chosen members of your legacy must remain on the lot. This also means that urns or graves of ones that have passed on must also be kept. (even if you move) Any sim brought into the house to perpetuate your legacy can be removed from the house any way you choose or kept if you like.

8. Moving is allowed, but pack your stuff and buy your next house unfurnished to place you existing furniture in. You may restyle your furniture as much as you please. If you decide to upgrade your sims stuff, you may sell the old permitting it has bottomed out in value.

9. NO changing traits or LTW's. No using Edit in CAS to alter appearance of sims.

10. You may choose traits if the game allows, but if the game assigns a trait your stuck with it.

11. Harvesting perfect plants or fish is permitted as long as it does not make getting a LTW to easy. (Perfect Garden, Perfect Aquarium, etc)

12. If your current generation sim dies without having a child, you must bring them back as a playable ghost to continue and keep them active in the house until the next generation is a young adult. After this you may send them back to the grave, but keep them on the lot.
